Unfair shipping fees

The fact that I had to pay $12 in shipping for a $13 product is a scam. Never again will
I order from this company and I’m letting everyone I know not to. The shipping fee was not upfront when I paid on Apple Pay-and when I tried to cancel right away they told me it was “too late.” Unfair practices from a company that should know better than to treat their customers this way.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the shipping fees for your recent order of our Tootsie Pops Cherry. We understand your frustration and would like to explain our shipping practices.

As a family owned and operated small business, we strive to provide our customers with the best quality products at a fair price. Unfortunately, the shipping carriers we work with (FedEx, USPS) do not yet offer us any lower shipping pricing. Therefore, our owners made the intentional decision to not include shipping costs in our product prices, unlike many other online retailers.

We apologize if the shipping fee was not made clear to you during the checkout process. As we explained when you reached out, your order was already in the possession of USPS and could not be cancelled. However, we did provide you with the option to have the package sent back to us for a full refund.

We would also like to mention that on our mobile site, the shipping prices are displayed under your shipping address before the 'pay now' button. Additionally, the email confirmation sent after your order also includes the shipping price.

Love Red Tootsie Roll Pops!

My 4 year-old granddaughter and I both love the red Tootsie Roll Pops. When we get a bag with the mixed flavors, we pawn them off on other people and each try to eat the reds before each other. Buying just the reds gives us great candy pleasure. The pricing was good. The ordering was easy. The enjoyment is phenomenal. They arrived very timely.
