A funny thing about Milk Duds is that when they were invented, the creators thought they were making perfectly round, shiny, chocolate covered caramels. If you've seen Milk Duds, you know they are nothing like perfect circles, so they decided to call them duds. The milk part of the name is because they are made with real milk. Milk Duds are perfect right out of the box and, for a special treat, mix them in with some popcorn.
