Goetze's

Goetze’s started back in 1895, run by August Goetze and his son William. August worked as an engraver for the Baltimore Chewing Gum Company, and he and his son bought the business after it was not doing so well. In the early 1900s the Caramel Cream (colloquially known as “Bullseyes” because of the white cream center) was born because of a gum shortage during WW1, and it has become the most iconic candy of Goetze’s ever since. The original Caramel Cream has grown to include delicious flavors such as double chocolate, Oreo®, strawberry smoothie, and even licorice!
