Spangler has been around all the way back since 1906, when Arthur G. Spangler started the company, originally selling baking soda, baking powder, laundry starch, corn starch, spices, and flavorings. In 1908, his brother, Ernest, suggested adding candy to the product line, and the rest is history! Now, Spangler produces some of America’s most beloved treats, including Circus Peanuts, Necco Wafers, and candy canes!
